The Palms, Betalbatim, South Goa, is developed by Ramesh Khanna and Manish Khanna from Bombay.

They are the owners of the Eastern International Hotel in Bombay (Formerly the Holiday Inn Bombay), a 5 Star Deluxe Hotel on Juhu Beach, Bombay and the Majorda Beach Resort Hotel in South Goa, one of India’s finest 5 Star Deluxe Resorts.

Ramesh Khanna is a Hotelier by life profession, with more than 40 years in the hotel industry, and has been a pioneer in the Indian hotel and tourism industry.

He built and established the Holiday Inn in Bombay (now known as Eastern International Hotel), one of the country’s first International Hotel Chain franchises, that helped in promoting India as a tourism destination to the world in India’s financial capital.

He was the first to introduce South Goa as a destination for fine hotels with the establishing of the Majorda Beach Resort.

The family tradition of hospitality continues with The Palms, being undertaken by his son Manish Khanna, also a hotelier by profession, who is spearheading the quick development of The Palms, and ensuring the highest standards in the complex. Manish Khanna continues efforts in promoting tourism activities and development in South Goa.
